Region 479 was chartered in 1987 in Tehachapi, California. Tehachapi AYSO is part of the American Youth Soccer Organization; a nationwide non-profit organization that develops and delivers quality youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives.
Tehachapi AYSO is 100% Volunteer run and managed.

Games for divisions Playground (4U) through 16/19U are played at the Benz-Visco Youth Sports & Cultural Park located on Tehachapi Willow Springs Road, between Tehachapi Blvd. and Highline.
